"We loved our stay. We’re a family of three—two adults (one pregnant) and a nine-year-old—and Sandyport was exactly what we needed: small, safe, and relaxed. We stayed in a ground-floor suite, which was perfect for us. It had two bathrooms, one king bed, and a pull-out couch, and kitchen. The room was tidied every morning, essentials were restocked, and everything looked great. The pool area is ideal for younger kids—small enough for them to enjoy safely. That said, it may not be the best fit for teens, as they might get bored. A few more lounge chairs around the pool would also be a nice improvement. The beach is right there and it’s fantastic. As for restaurants, there are quite a few within easy walking distance, which is a big plus. However, the quality of food and service can be inconsistent, and prices are high for what you get. Expect fairly standard American-style menus. That said, our favourites were Mi Bi’s and Bon Vivants (drinks). The Twisted Lime and Blue Sail were disappointing. We ended up walking to the grocery store for fresh food, milk, and breakfast items—both to save money and to eat a bit better. The resort itself is a bit dated, but in a charming way. One downside was that we noticed some garbage around the property that didn’t seem to get picked up, and throughout our week-long stay, our suite’s towels were never refreshed (may be an extra charge). Overall, the resort is quiet, family-friendly, and accessible."

"If you’re looking for clean and cheap without all the frillies of a big chain, this is the place to be. It’s quiet. Felt completely safe. The staff was fantastic. "

"Nice little bar and pool area, friendly staff, but this hotel is in rough shape. Room door had been kicked in by a previous guest, frame splintered apart so no door lock, for starters. No towels. No coffee maker, no water glass. The room was not clean as evidenced by what appeared to be blood stains in the mini fridge that had dripped out onto the floor. Not kidding, this place had it all. Hardly slept a wink."

"Looks abandoned, no tiki bar or restaurant as adverised place is run down . Some structures falling apart. rooms are really outdated. Furniture inside the room is worn looks really old. I ended up paying a hundred dollars to switch my flight to the same day and then not stay spend the night."

"Property is located on the top of a hill. Room was clean and staff was courteous.Location is far from Downtown. Beautiful ocean view, but not suitable for swimming. All main attractions are driving distance. "
