"The pool and workout room were closed after being advertised as open. The hot breakfast was a cold breakfast with very few options. The staff wasn't very friendly except Will who we saw the last morning we were there."

"Fantastic ocean beach view from the balcony! Could see Wilmington buildings a few miles to the South. Shell Island Resort is at the end of the beach road! Walk the beach 1.5 miles northward the the ocean "river" flowing into the salt water marsh...Amazing!"
