"A little more vacuuming the halls, entry, and elevator would have been good. The pool had quite a few leaves etc. floating in it and didn't look super well maintained. It was just after a rain, so maybe that was it..? We had a spacious room at the top floor which was quiet and clean. Breakfast was great and fresh."
"There is another post review on this email saying 1 stars, and that the employees were not good, and that the hospitality was terrible or something like that. Expedia will take them down as someone hacked my account. Please if your reading reviews those are far from the truth. The red lion and their staff are very helping and very professional. 5 ⭐️ service all the time. Like I said that review or the reviews left were not intentional as someone hacked my account. The red lion hotel is the best place in town for your families and business stays. Great amenities and great staff.
This is a honest and true post fixing the bad review that was not true. Thanks for ready everyone."
"The location and the lobby were very nice with ample seating for relaxing.
Nice view from pool and lobby.
The only negative was that we didn’t expect that we would be located in a second building not attached to the main amenities so may be inconvenient for those with mobility issues.
Also no microwaves in the rooms!
Other than those to items it was a great place and I would certainly stay again."
"We stayed at Cable Mountain Lodge for two nights. The lodge itself was great, and the location inside Zion was absolutely amazing and incredibly convenient.
Unfortunately, our stay was overshadowed by a very unpleasant surprise when we arrived. After already paying for our hotel, we were told we had to pay $100 per person to get through the gate and access our accommodations. For our family, that meant an unexpected $300, plus an additional $35 fee.
We were completely shocked. This was not a small incidental charge—it was hundreds of dollars in additional costs simply to reach a hotel we had already booked and paid for. Most frustrating was that this was not clearly communicated to us beforehand.
By the time we learned about the charge, we had travelled to Zion, had a prepaid reservation, and were standing at the gate with little choice but to pay.
The lodge and location were wonderful, but guests should be clearly informed of substantial additional access costs before booking, not when they arrive. This lack of transparency unfortunately left a very negative impression on an otherwise great stay."
"Property was nice and clean when we pulled up to the hotel. Walked in and was pleasantly surprised with how clean and modern the hotel was. Staff was friendly and check in was a breeze. Room was very spacious and clean. Kids swam in the beautiful pool and breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We Look forward to staying at this property again sometime soon!"
