"Overall I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. It’s got that old charm with modern touch. My next door guest room played music very loud all night until 3am. I guess sound proof wall wasn’t thick enough well, other than that it’s very nice place and strongly recommend to anybody visiting London Mayfair area."

"The Rubens is a fantastic hotel. We only stayed one night, but will definitely stay there upon return to London. The location cannot be beat, only a block or two from Buckingham Palace. The staff absolutely could not have been nicer or more accommodating. They really were fantastic!!
The room was comfortable. We had a view of the Royal Mews. Breakfast was amazing. I really cannot say enough nice things about the hotel. Highly recommend!"

and not comfortable nor set up for a comfortable stay. We are used to small accommodations in London, but this room was not livable for any length of stay.
You can find better at the same price or less, and with breakfast which this did not offer. They also wanted to charge us for occupying 1 hour early."

"Do not stay here! The room we got was really dirty and had one working outlet. Given that it is such a small and minimalist space, we had hoped the room would at least be clean. The bathroom had a horribly poor design with no shower door, so anytime the shower was turned on, the entire bathroom floor was soaked.
