An excellent B&B. Stylish, olde worlde bedroom, very good breakfast, pleasant owners and staff; clean comfortable and quiet. My only downside is that there is no public sitting room or salon, which means if weather is bad, there is nowhere to retreat to, other than one's bedroom.

The property is charming and our room was very spacious with a modern and generous private bath. The grounds are well kept and are secured by tall hedges and a gate. The owners are very kind and accommodating.

Lovely chateau filled with tasteful antiques. Philippe is a very solicitous host and breakfasts were delightful! The grounds are beautifully maintained, quiet and private. Tourgéville is a great base for day trips to Honfleur, Fécamp and many WWI and WWII sites including the D Day beaches.

Fabulous, friendly B&B in wonderful building

The Manoir lived up to our expectations in every way - and was even more impressive with its Christmas decorations. Fantastic breakfast, with selection of very fresh breads, pastries, eggs and homemade jams. Philippe kindly recommended several of his favourite local restaurants.

Terrific find- highly recommend

Excellent B&B with beautiful grounds and historic home with well appointed rooms. Breakfast (included) was a lovely way to start the day. Hosts were that perfect blend of unobtrusive accessibility- you felt welcomed but your privacy was well guarded. Terrific location as gateway to Normandy attractions, especially military (we stayed during 80th anniversary of D-Day/Operation Overlord).

Best stay in a long while

Maison de Lions is exceptional. The house and grounds are simply beautiful. Our room, stunning. The bed was very comfortable and the shower…wow! I’m not much of a breakfast person but Phillipe has changed my mind. His breakfast was delicious, meats, cheeses, homemade jams, fresh eggs, pastries to die for, freshly squeezed juice, hot chocolaut.

Little gem.

We were looking for something quirky for a short break in an area we know reasonably well. We thought the house looked beautiful and it was…. Full of antiques and quirky art. Our room was very large and comfortable and our bathroom was fab with a huge shower though neither would be suitable if you could not cope with stairs as there are only stairs to reach the upper bedrooms and stairs down into the bathroom from the bedroom which could be tricky at night if you were not careful. You would just have to be specific when you booked. Phillipe was a fabulous host and could not have been more helpful. There are a clutch of fancy chickens in the garden providing lovely fresh eggs for the plentiful and very tasty continental breakfast. I was even able to pick fresh raspberries from the garden to have with my yogurt. We loved our stay and cannot wait to return.

A magical place

it is a place where you feel special, wonderful and royal. The owner was very nice and helpful. Breakfast very delicious, fresh baked baguettes, everything was great. We will definitely come back to this hotel. It was an honor for us to be a guest at this place, a shame it was just for one night. You want to stay here longer, stay here longer because it is a magical place.

Sejour excellent, de vrais hôteliers.

L accueil a ete fort sympathique. Nous avon passe un agreable moment dans ce joli manoir. Les chambres sont tres bien decorees et confortables. La salle de bainngrande et les douches sont tres agreables. Le petit dejeuner est copieux et toit est fait maison,: jus d orange, salade de fruit, confiture. Le jardin est tres bien entretenu et bien fleuri, une petite pause s y impose. Je recommande tres vivement ce lieu.
