Terrific storyteller, skilled mixologist, and generous with recommendations. He made a superb Vesper and knew the Bond backstory behind it — which always adds to the fun. He also introduced us to Chartreuse. Enough said."

"Paid in advance for the room but when we arrived staff announced there was a e100 deposit for the room. They refused to give a room key until this was paid, they then refused to release the monies until the room had been cleaned. If the hotel needs to do this to their guests I shudder to think what type of guest they are getting there. I would not recommend this hotel. "

"We had a 3 night Easter break to visit the champagne houses. Although the hotel has limited parking, we were lucky during Easter that the street parking was free. There is a public car park that charges €4 for 24hrs. The hotel was refurbished end of last year and the modern vibrant decor gives it a new feel although the outside looks dated. It has a gym and a indoor reasonable size pool. There are plenty of seating and a nice pool table. Rooms and walk in shower room were a decent size. We didn't have breakfast. The hotel is a 10 min stroll to the centre and nicely positioned opposite, I am guessing, Reims football stadium. I would return but if you want something central then prepare yourselves for a bit of noise."

"Usually stay here en route to and from the Alps Spring and Summer. The heated pool is particularly welcome after hours in the car. Breakfast is a treat and dinner ok. Better to eat in the bar though. Enjoy Peter "

"Very spacious and clean rooms. Stylish decor, lovely shower and toiletries. The staff were wonderful and it’s in a quiet area of the city. Only one lift (out of 2), was working, which created a bit of waiting to get to and from the rooms"
