"The breakfast was very good , best in 2 years.I was disappointed to be charged a $5.00 hotel fee after paying my stay on hotels,com I think this is nickel and diming the customer.I am sure that hotels com and Wyndham could come to some agreement to discontinue this practice. It left a bad impression on me."

"Gene at front desk was very nice. This property is extremely dated. Carpet was gross. Needs paint and overall did not think it was a great hotel. It’s fine in a pinch. One more thing we traveled with a service dog and was reprimanded that we did not mention at booking (which is not a thing on Expedia). Choice hotels don’t allow pets and apparently aren’t too keen on service dogs either. They did accommodate us and it was for one night only but thought it should be mentioned. "

"We booked this through hotels.com 3 months earlier. It was then a Hampton Inn. We were not notified via email/phone before our arrival that it changed to a Sparks hotel. Our original reservation for the Hampton Inn included a workout room and breakfast for the 5 of us. We were informed by the Sparks staff that there is no longer a workout room and there will be no breakfast (Sparks does not offer this). There was no offer to compensate us for the extra cost of buying breakfast away from the hotel."

"The mattress was WAY uncomfortable. Was expecting at least a queen size. My husband took up most of the full size. i couldn't sleep at all and whoever idea it was to put the TV on the side of the room needs to be fired. I shouldn't have to crack my neck sideways to watch TV. The limited were really hard. The staff was great!!! The bathroom was super clean a was the rest of the room. Something definitely needs to be done about that elevator, it sounds and feels like it's on its last legs. Heaven forbid anyone gets stuck on it"

"Staff was very nice! The property itself was essentially falling apart. In a suite room with refrigerator and stove; there were no utensils, no bowls, no coffee maker, no cups or glasses, no plates, no nothing.. I did ask the staff and there is no ice in this facility nor ice bucket to even carry it in. Breakfast is a stale muffin with a coffee dispenser.. If it weren’t for the wonderful staff, I would have left and asked for my money back! "
