"Excellent place to stay "

"A really lovely hotel, staff were attentive and friendly. The facilities, especially the spa were really fantastic and a cut above others I’ve visited. The breakfast was excellent and I really loved the decor and picture collages in the dining area. Thank you for a lovely stay."

"Had a really nice stay"

"A comfortable stay and the staff were lovely."

"Although this property was clean and presented well, I was disappointed after paying nearly $300 that there where no toiletries other that pump soap and no tea or coffee facilities in the room. Also the room was so hot as was the hotel itself. One plus the pool was clean and well kept. Room service was poor."

"Great place, fab staff. Breakfast was excellent"

"Our stay at Elton’s Escape was lovely. The caravan is nicely decorated with a cosy, welcoming vibe, and its location made it perfect for visiting Ambleside and Windermere. The living/dining area was fresh and welcoming, unlike many dog-friendly caravans which often carry an odour. Wi-Fi was excellent too. When we arrived, the caravan hadn’t yet been cleaned after the previous guests, but once we called the helpline, the on-call cleaning team responded promptly and resolved the issue. One thing...

"Loved our stay, very relaxing"

"I don’t really want to write a review. I want this to be a best kept secret. A proper farm house, A boot room for after a muddy hike. A huge kitchen to cook in whilst with your family, 2 living rooms ideal for when your eldest daughter has had enough of her family for one day and 4 generous bedrooms. Everything was neat and tidy. Will be booking it again. The garden was nice and as I sat in the window we saw a stoat in the run and hide under the stones."

"Very nice hotel..recommended"

"Nice place, right time of the year. Cabin and hot tub were excellent. The shared pool leaves a little to be desired for young kids. Especially those who may not be confident in the water. I would go back and stay in Lodge 15 Langsdale again. Short trips in the car gave great views of the area and loads to do. "

"We had an excellent stay with an amazing view of lake Windermere. Our two boys had good reviews of the apartment which is unusual. The apartment was very well kept and very comfortable ♥️"

"Liked where it was positioned, nice parking spot, comfortable furnishings, nice essentials in fridge for our arrival"
