"Cosy cottage - perfect for two and a dog. The cottage sits on its own, and has a secure gated driveway, but the added convenience of being just off the main road into Criccieth and Pwllheli, and with a mile walk to the beach. Well equipped in the main, though take your own loo rolls! Booked through Hotels.com but actually through Sykes Cottages, who offered great service on the phone. "A very attractive house in a quiet location away from it all with superb views down to the sea. Very well equipped property with everything we could have wanted for cooking meals etc. The hot water supply was not wholly reliable and requires some maintenance. Also there was a risk of injury from protruding carpet grippers on the stairs which caused scratches to bare feet. Overall, a good place to spend a holiday."

"It’s a well equipped apartment in a good area. The floor was not clean, and the property is in need of some maintenance. The mattresses are very springy and uncomfortable. The upstairs toilet doesn’t flush very well and leaves a bad drainage smell after use. The road noise spoils the view from the balcony and the close proximity to the train station, which serves stabling trains, early morning and late evening with engines running should be mentioned."

Honestly, I had almost rated this flat as 4 star because it is advertised with parking though there is none, but it was so clean and perfect I had to give 5 stars. If your lucky you can find a space to park in the loading zone across the street between 5pm and 10am but locals park there too. "What a splendid break !!! My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our mini-break at the Tower. Very quiet & remote which was exactly what we were looking for. Well appointed with fantastic views from the higher floors. Note. Lots of stairs as you would expect, so a reasonable level of fitness and mobility is needed. 5 out of 5 from us."
