"The staff was super friendly, the beds were very comfortable, the sheets smelled like bleach (which I love), the river view was awesome, fire pit provided and fan, bathrooms clean and well appointed, outside showers were pretty cool (summer). We felt safe"

Lovely place to have a short stay. If we had known in advanced how much we would have enjoyed it we would have stayed longer. We had a plum room overlooking the river and mountains with a balcony to boot, and the swimming pool, though unheated was pleasurable to use and also had magnificent views.

A Charming Motel with lots of interesting and unusual decor. Our hosts were terrific fun and even provided a musical evening of entertainment (Tuesdays). Room was good, clean and well provisioned with water, coffee and biscuits/snack.
TV, A/C, Fridge and Fan all worked fine.
Could do with a hook to hang towels in the shower room (or did we miss it?).
Micro-brewery next door. Pizza’s down the road. Bakery and Diner just over the bridge and in the village.

Lovely stay in a mostly unknown area. We were delighted with the views and ambiance of the place. Great town and facilities a short drive away. My only issue is that the walls were very thin between the rooms and we could hear every word spoken by our neighbours.

Would have liked a dip in the pool after a long drive, but it was shut and looked like it had been for a while looking at the colour of the water.
As for the room, basic, but clean, not all the lights worked and we could only get 1 channel on the TV.
But super comfortable beds and a great nights sleep!

Arrived & spoke to Sarah via the office door camera. My door was opened & bingo am here.
Can't understand negative reviews: its an oasis on the road, clean comfy bed, shower spot on....oh & extra coffee.
Late check out, not a prob. Its a great little place with outdooe seating & tables.
