"Our room was clean and comfortable. The hotel was very quiet as was the surrounding area. We were a bit late to the breakfast room and the staff person in charge allowed us to have some breakfast while she was cleaning up and putting food items away. "First the bad stuff…There pricing was up there with some bigger chains so expect more from a hotel. I received a room that looked clean-ish, but they hadn’t changed the sheets. Just made the bed again. There was a clear indication that someone had slept in the bed before, plus there was hair by the pillows. I asked for milk for morning coffee, which I received (milk packets), only it had gone out of date 6 months before. I was down as soon as breakfast opened. The yogurt tasted like it went...

"Själva rummet va helt ok, dock ingen fläkt i badrummet så blev otroligt fuktigt i hela rummet efter dusch. De hade inte heller tömt soptunnan på toa så där låg en använd binda. Med tanke på priset vi betalade, 1550kr så va frukosten inte heller speciellt bra. Ingen lagad mat så som bacon och pannkaka. Fanns knappt pålägg kvar uppdukat när vi skulle äta"

Go to a B & B instead

"Unfortunate “renovation” of lovely old building took all the charm and character and trashed it for artificial surfaces, ugly bland furnishings, and tiny cell-like rooms. Do hotels really get stars for having a pool table or a shiny plastic chandelier? Sad. Front desk staffed by cheerful young woman, which was the only saving grace of an empty town and depressing hotel. "

"We booked a couple of nights at this property. There are two buildings, the main one where the reception is located and another building close by where we stayed the first night. As we arrived on a Friday evening, we had a room on the first floor of the annex which has a bar under it that closes at 2am so we could not sleep until then. We found out that it only closes that late on Fridays and Saturdays so we asked to be moved for the second night. If you stay on all other nights, Sunday to Tue is closed and on the other nights it closes at 11pm so not a huge issue. The hotel needs a bit of a refurb as the rooms are dated and the windows should at least be replaced with double glazing to help with the noise. There is a free car park close by and the town is walking distance. "
