Tribune Tower

One of many pieces of other buildings that you will find imbedded in the outer walls of the Tribune Tower. Once other countries discovered that pieces of their buildings were being stolen for this purpose, they started sending pieces voluntarily.

Finished in 1925 in a Gothic Revival style that was popular when this building was first built before the Chicago Fire of 1871, it once housed the Chicago Tribune newspaper. I believe it has recently been gutted and converted to condominiums.
