"The Alalila staff were all very friendly and helpful during our stay at this lovely accommodation. The view of the sea from our room was very special and it was just a short walk to the beautiful Trou aux Biches beach. The breakfast was always a very enjoyable start to the day with a great choice and a great view of the sea!"

"I was a solo traveller visiting Mauritius for the first time. The resort was perfect, the beach is stunning, the water activities were great and there was just so many places to just relax on sun loungers around the resort and near the pool. What made my stay special was the excellent staff who were really welcoming and friendly, full of smiles and joy that brightened each day. The breakfast was great loads of choices and also a variety of places for dinner too. I would definitely recommend this hotel and return here on another trip in the future! "This was a great value stay. There were a few minor maintenance issues like stains on the sofa but otherwise great. The shower was always hot and with great pressure It's a three minute walk to the beach. A quick walk to a supermarket for snacks. It was always easy to get an Uber since it's near a taxi rank. The location is great if you want to hike hills at the northern end of the island. Reception staff were super friendly and helpful. Apart from one female who I think may have been a manager/owner. She was sat in the office behind a desk. She completely ignored me when I tried to get her attention and continued doing something on her phone. Overall a good stay."

"the room i had was ground floor garden view, the gardens were nice sitting on patio having a beer was relax full, the room itself was bigger than usual had a tv but channels were very limited we actually never watched it after first time. bathroom was also big bath and shower few personal items ,storage for clothes was fine just shelves little hanging space, room was clean ,now it does need a bit of tlc, shower screen needs a good cleaning house keeping can take up to 5 o'clock to clean room sometimes forgot clean towels stairs to upstairs apartment are wooden can hear people coming and going, overall it passes for 3 star hotel room, just make sure if you don't like stairs ask for ground floor, the room they first gave us was on third floor no lift, they change us next day after we told them"

"Overall wonderful experience. Staff looked after us well, good facilities, very close to the beach, on site restaurant was lovely too and overall location was good if you wsnt to experience northern Mauritius. Had the odd flies/ants in the bathroom but thats expected of any hotel in a tropical island. "
