"I enjoyed my stay at the Solaris hotel even though it was short. The location is great and very walkable to restaurants, shops and a mall. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Susan provided a great summary and useful information upon arrival. The staff was able to help me contact a tour operator that was running late. The roof top is very cute and perfect for an evening drink. Breakfast was delicious and there was a good variety. "

"Fantastic, fantastic, fantastic!!!! The level of hospitality we received from Mien, Jen, and Brian during our stay at La Sinfonia del Rey was outstanding. They were always keen to know how our stay in Hanoi was going as well as kept up with our plans as we went on tours to Ninh Binh and Ha Long Bay. They took great care in ensuring we enjoyed every aspect of our vacation, even so far as offering a breakfast-to-go option when they learned our flight back was early in the morning, before the breakfast buffet could begin. We will return to Hanoi and La Sinfonia del Rey will be our only choice as a place to stay."

"La Siesta was one of the best hotels that we stayed in during our 2 week trip to Asia. The location in the Old Quarter was fantastic and the service was incredible. They will sit you down and review a map of Hanoi with you, then proceed to walk you to your room. You see the same familiar faces at the front desk each day, and they remember you! The front desk staff are also extremely familiar with the Old Quarter and have yummy food recommendations. They will recommend the hole in the wall restaurants that are busy with locals that you want to go to! We didn't have a window in our room, but that was okay as we weren't in the room that often. Breakfast buffet is included and Vietnamese options could be improved such as more toppings for the chao and perhaps banh cuon. If a pool is important to you (it was not to us), then there isn't one at this hotel. There is an extremely nice roof top bar that we visited during our trip. "
