"The property is being renovated and some areas were affected by the construction. The room was spacious and clean although dated. The breakfast was limited but sufficient. The most memorable part of the stay was the balcony. Beautiful views of the river and surrounding mountains. Plenty of wildlife to observe: geese flying at treetop level and a very curious beaver just below our balcony."

"Room was clean and spacious. Beds were comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Coffee and tea were provided in the mornings from 8-10, it would have been nice to have it longer or throughout the day. I was usually up well before 8 and it would have been nice to sit outside with my coffee. The best feature is the outside decks with a porch swing, glider and chairs for just watching and listening to the creek. We hope to stay there again."

"The location of this INN is probably one of the best in the area. Short drive, and even walk to the Welcome Center of the Great Smokey National Park as well as to the south entrance of the Blue Ridge Parkway. Watch the herds of elks in the area. This facility is very well maintained - outside and inside. We have found everything we needed. Great value for your money, highly recommended."

"Me and my husband stayed here for our first anniversary and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. My favorite thing about this place was the smell! It smelled fantastic throughout the whole hotel. The staff said each branch had their own signature scent which i thought was super neat! The location is IDEAL. About a 2-3 minute walk away from main street. Another sweet touch was a radio in the room with a bluetooth feature which I had never seen in a hotel before."
