"The room was extremely clean and the staff very friendly. Breakfast was awesome and delicious. There’s plenty of parking. I just want to add that this hotel has an old time vibe. This is one of those hotels that inspires time travel into the past in a good way. The room has this quaint kind of antique furniture that makes it look like an hotel in the 1960s and 70s. There’s a real key to the room, a receptionist, and a record player and vinyl records in the lobby as well as other vintage items such as a travel bag from the 1960s. There are cute little compartments for each room just like old times! They also have a selection of books to read or to look at pictures.
It was really a fenomenal experience!"
"Beautifully restored property. The staff was great. Although we were greeted by a non English speaker we communicated very well through Google Translate."
"I REALLY liked the property
but I think that closing the pool so early in the year - when it's so hot - is a pity.
Also price of dinner was to high in relation to what we got....."
"Loved this hotel. Its location is amazing - up in the hills and so tranquil but still only a 10 minute drive from Chaves. The hotel has so many fruit trees and herbs - I was able to pick fresh mint to make mint tea whilst I was there. Will definitely return!"
"This is such a cool location. We only stayed for one night but the breakfast was delightful, staff was kind and welcoming, and the room was spacious and clean. Be sure to call when you arrive so they can come greet you at the door! "
