Charming hotel

Cozy hotel with lots of charm. The service was excellent, great place to relax. Quiet but close to the main plaza. They have parking available for free half a block away.

La Posada San Antonio walks a fine line between rustic and charming and rundown and creepy. For my partner and I, it crosses over into the latter. I understand that Villa de Leyva is a historic town, but that’s no excuse for a bad motel bathroom at the price we paid. We were also surprised by how noisy the room was, both from the street outside and from inside the hotel, making it hard to relax. Finally, we went for a suite with a terrace, which was actually just a window with the tiniest of ledges. False advertising? In the end, the hotel was more strange than horrible, but from the photos, reviews and price, we expected more.

La ubicación es privilegiada. Se encuentra a sólo 2 cuadras de la plaza principal. Tiene muy cerca restaurantes, almacenes, un parque y una drogueria. El parqueadero no es en el mismo hotel pero queda cerca y es muy seguro. Las habitaciones son grandes, la cama es super cómoda, con muy buenos tendidos. No cuenta con room service, pero todas las cosas buenas que tiene, lo compensan. Me encanta el balcon y el patio interior. Recomiendo ampliamente éste hotel.
