"The only good thing about this place is that it’s inside the park. Other than that it’s NOT worth the money. Check in people were nice, check out older gentleman was terrible. We had issue with our heater working in the dead of winter and received no help. Woke up to no hot water to shower or wash our faces with and again I got a rude real from a young woman at the front that “they’ll send maintenance” no apology, and no maintenance showed! The rooms are dark and dated. Paint peeling off the walls in the bathroom. You can also hear your neighbors. When we addressed the issues of the broken heater and no hot water at checkout, the older checkout man just shrugged and said “Thanks for the feedback.” No apology. Wow. Never staying here again. "
"I really liked the bathroom, lighting options, and the shower/lotion scent! I just wish they had hot chocolate as an option for breakfast (unfortunately, the machines did not have them during our stay). Otherwise, great experience! The staff were very friendly and approachable, and my family and I had a lovely and excellent time!"
"Ski slopes are right out your front door. 1-2 minute walk through the parking lot. The rooms are a little outdated but they do the trick. The staff is LOVELY. It was my first time skiing in mammoth and the desk clerk was super helpful and gave me a map etc. I will definitely be back :)"
"We stayed in a very cosy cabin that was spotless and had all the amenities. Our friends stayed in the “Family Room” which is upstairs from the restaurant and has 2 bedrooms and a sitting room, and looks just like your grandmother’s house, with antique furniture and quilts. We ate at the on-site restaurant every day and were lucky enough to be seated next to the owners and her parents- lovely, very hard-working people. The grounds feature comfy chairs arranged around fire rings, as well as games like Cornhole in the common area. The property is adjacent to Virginia Creek, and it’s a lovely spot to sit and have morning coffee. This is a perfect place to base your adventures, whether you want to explore Bodie, enjoy the hot springs in Bridgeport, or just have a peaceful getaway. We will definitely return!"
