"Abbey house was quiet and clean. We wish we knew about the stairs. My husband has bad knees. We would have chosen a downstairs room. All in all our stay was fabulous. "

"The staff was helpful and coffee flowing. However, two items made for a disruptive sleep, despite a white noise machine we brought along as well as being pretty adaptable guests. First, we brought our own cooler, thankfully, but the refrigerator not only didn’t get or stay very cold but made loud noises for its inefficient efforts allll night. And, while the air conditioner worked at 74 (and didn’t turn off or dial back its blowing), increase it to 75 and it doesn’t turn back on all night. So...

"Room was clean, bed was comfortable and the TV channels included NHK, a channel from Japan that I enjoyed. Room was located at the end of the hall next to an exterior door and I don't know if it was that door, or other room doors around me, but I heard door closings which seemed loud in my room, until late evening. The bathroom power outlets were not working so I had to use the hair dryer outside the bathroom. A minor inconvenience. Free breakfast is included and a nice amenity. Breakfast area...

"I had a very disappointing stay at this hotel. The room had cockroaches, the AC was broken, and there was trash left sitting in the hallway during our stay. It did not feel clean or properly maintained at all. When I discovered the roaches, I asked to switch rooms, but the staff said they were unable to accommodate us because the hotel was fully booked for Bottlerock weekend and there were no rooms available. I also requested extra pillows and was told they didn’t have any surplus due to the...

"Though it is advertised that they have a pool. The pool is closed and dirty, and the pool has been closed for at least the last 3-5 years. Even though it is summer, the inn has a sign that says the pool is closed for the season (that sign has been there for a couple years). I have pictures of this. The vent in the bathroom was crazy loud. There was crud on the floor of the shower."

"Pool was closed. Room smelled heavily of smoke. We had three people in the room and it was stocked with only two towels; when we went to the front desk to ask for another towel, we were told to “find one of the ladies outside.”"

"Staff was helpful, bed comfotable, room clean. No toiletries provided except soap. Shutters on window were broken. No coffee-maker in room. Coffee was available in the lobby, but no decaf."

"The rooms were so clean and nicely prepared! I love this stay! The breakfast was fresh and delicious. Amazing parking and staff were super nice. The only bad thing I would say is the pool, I feel like it looks dirty to swim in it does have Clorox but you can kind of see a film of things in top of the water and it’s small! Other than that it was an amazing stay!"

"We accidentally left a bag at the hotel, and unfortunately it was never returned to us. We contacted the property, but the bag was not found or returned. This was disappointing and negatively affected our experience."

"Not sure if my room had not been used in a while because there was spiders and webs in the corner of the room. There was long hair on one of the towels and on the coffee maker. Dings and scratches all over walls. I know the hair isn't from me im bald"

"4 night stay for vacation. Central location for various day trips. Room clean, toilets were very low and had problems with stoppage which required super to fix. Great bed. Comfortable suite, roomy. Fit our needs well. Breakfast was fine, had the basics, staff all friendly and helpful."
