This was our first stop on arrival in Sri Lanka and it didn’t disappoint. The staff are wonderful, the food was gorgeous and the setting by the lake was idyllic. The rooms are comfortable, clean and have high ceilings and views of the lake. Altogether a great start to our holiday.

the hotel was right on the beach. We had a seaview room which was large and roomy. The room was kept very clean. The facilities at the hotel were very good. All the staff that worked there were amazing and could not do enough for you. The anamation team made sure that guests were occupied during the day.You were made to feel like a person rather than just a number. The pol was kept very clean. The food was varied although most dishes were spicy there was something for everybody to eat.

The hotel and staff were excellent. Can't wait to visit again

We are a married couple in our 60s, and have just spent a week here at the beginning of October. This is their low season, so the hotel was very quiet and peaceful, which suits us. We could not fault the facilities, the cleanliness of the room, etc. The hotel comprises of an open central restaurant and bar, surrounded by colourful, well maintained gardens and small bungalows in which are situated the guest rooms, which are air conditioned. The hotel is at one end of a large lagoon, surrounded by...

I recently stayed at Wattura Resort and Spa, and let me tell you, it was beyond awesome! Right from the moment we arrived, the staff treated us like family, making us feel so welcome. The service at Wattura Resort and Spa is out of this world. The staff went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and more. They helped us with everything, from getting around to giving us awesome suggestions for family activities. They really cared about making our stay unforgettable. The food...

We stayed at Waterland on our first night in Colombo for one night and the main issue with our stay was that it wasn’t for long enough. Me and a friend arrived at different time and Waterland arranged for both of us to be picked up from the airport. The hotel is a little way out of Colombo but it is in a lovely, quiet setting. Upon arrival, we were each greeted with a delicious drinks and shown around the apartment (even though my friend did not arrive until after midnight). Waterland also...

We had a wonderful few days at this hotel. The pool and gardens were wonderful. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Room was small but VERY clean, the owner runs the place and is both amicable and helpful. The pool was well kept, clean and warm

This was my favorite hotel in Sri Lanka. The pictures on the website don't do it justice. I wish I could have stayed there longer. The room was brand new, up to westerner standards without sacrificing the local touches. The staff was very is nice and the breakfast was excellent. They can organise any types of excursions to visit the town, day tour, boat tour (which picks you up from the hotel back yard) and spa treatment. This was the perfect ending to a perfect trip.
