"I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Hotel New Otani Osaka. What impressed me most was the staff. Every interaction—from the front desk to the luggage team, bellhops, and attendants outside the hotel—was friendly, professional, and highly attentive. I’ve stayed at many hotels around the world, and this was one of the best hospitality teams I’ve experienced.
The location is excellent. Situated near Osaka Castle in a business district, the hotel is surrounded by cafés and convenience stores, while Osaka-jōkōen Station is right next door for easy access to the rest of the city.
Another highlight was Patisserie Satsuki in the lobby. The croissants and cream puffs were phenomenal and among the best I’ve ever had. While I didn’t personally order room service, my friends—both serious food lovers—raved about the quality of the food and said it was excellent.
The only downside is that parts of the hotel feel a bit dated. My first room had limited convenient outlets for charging devices, and I ended up unplugging a lamp to charge my phone. However, the second room I stayed in was more updated, suggesting the hotel is actively renovating portions of the property.
Despite the dated feel in some areas, I would gladly stay here again. The outstanding staff, excellent food, and convenient location far outweigh any shortcomings, making Hotel New Otani Osaka an easy recommendation."
