"The history of the hotel and the area, is very interesting as well as the Haverthwaite railway and close to the motor museum, both well worth a visit. The hotel itself although a little dated was charming. The staff were friendly and obliging but there may be more of them needed for busier times. ..."

Ulverston is a very pretty town. A good array of shops and restaurants. We loved the Laurel and Hardy statue and museum as well We will definitely return
