"Uns hat das Hotel sehr gut gefallen. Das komfortable Zimmer war riesig und das Hotelpersonal war auch sehr zuvorkommend. In 10min hat man den Strand zu Fuß erreicht. Das täglich wechselnde Frühstücksmenü ist sehr westlich. Ich hätte allerdings eher ein gesünderes singhalesisches Frühstück bevorzugt."

"Great location for the beach. A little out of town but easy to catch tuktuk. Friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast looking out to beach was good but better to go to town for dinner . The room was clean and spacious."

"Lovely place to stay in the jungle and an easy and interesting 10 minute walk to the beautiful beach of Dalawella. Asoka and his staff go the extra mile to make sure you have all you need to have a relaxed and enjoyable holiday. Stayed three weeks and would happily have stayed another three! If you're looking for nightlife this isn't the place for you, but for comfort, peace and tranquility, this is the place to go. Can only highly recommend. "

"Had high expectations after reading the other reviews and spending almost $1K for two nights here but was disappointed overall. The beach access was nice and the highlight of our stay. Staff was a bit slow and not very helpful and food was ridiculously expensive and nothing special. There are other cheaper options nearby which are worth a look."

"Our stay at the Happy Night Hotel was simply amazing. We had a delux room for 3 although there wereonly two of us. The owner of the 14 room hotel lives on site so has a handle on things. The breakfast was included in the price of the room and included fresh fruit eggs toast and buffalo curd with honey and was awesome, and they served a pot of tea or cocoffee.
