"We arrived at the guest house after booking through Expedia to stay, when we arrived there had been a mishap with our booking and they were unaware of us staying. The owner and who seemed to be his father started talking about us in Sinhalese and saying some pretty rude stuff about myself and my girlfriend. Our friend we were with is Sri Lankan and translated what they were saying back to us. We instantly packed our stuff back in the car and left, there are much nicer places to stay down in that...

Asoka and his staff go the extra mile to make sure you have all you need to have a relaxed and enjoyable holiday. Stayed three weeks and would happily have stayed another three! If you're looking for nightlife this isn't the place for you, but for comfort, peace and tranquility, this is the place to go. Can only highly recommend. "
