"Location was great with beautiful view from the room. Close to restaurants, shopping and pubs. Ambiance sort of shabby Victorian. No help in luggage up and down 3 flights of stairs - no lift in our wing. Never shown around the property or spa. No a/c. Heat and towel warmer off for entire hotel. WiFi ..."

"A stunning hotel in an incredible location right on the lake, with breathtaking views throughout. "I stayed for a long weekend and the cleanliness and staff were exceptional. However, the Wi-Fi didn’t reach my room, which was 130, a single room as I was travelling alone. The other somewhat disappointing aspect was the lack of water pressure in the shower."
