"Nice friendly welcome from the gentleman working the bar on arrival Thursday 23rd October around 2pm, booked in and explained about breakfast, evening meals, on-site parking and what was happening at the pub over coming days. Shown to our room which was nice and bright, very clean and comfortable. The building dates from the 1700s so expect uneven floors and squeaky floor boards and lots of character in a nice way and things that catch your eye. Beautifully dressed for Halloween. "Très pratique à 10 min du centre de York à pieds. Hôtel immense, mais service impeccable, petit déjeuner complet. Pour se garer, demander le QR code pour le parking près de Starbucks à 5 min à pieds. Beaucoup moins cher que celui de l'hôtel. "

"Couldn't get parked as such a small car park, check in easy however, rooms clean and really comfy, didn't get breakfast as too hungover to get out of bed. "
