"The pool and hot tub closes at 5 which was annoying. We didn’t get to use it because who wants to sit in a hot tub during the day? The halls also smelt heavily like vodka and must so that was a little offsetting. Jets in the bathtub didn’t work. Toilet flow wasn’t great. Fireplace was turned off for the season.. honestly it was a very overpriced room and I wasn’t too thrilled."

"The Sundial was an excellent place to stay for a couple of nights. The staff were very nice and friendly. The room was very clean, but the furniture was a little worn and could use to be updated. The kitchen was great, and the bed was very comfortable. Self-parking was very easy."

"It was a great stay, and was very convenient being right in Whistler village! The room was clean, spacious, and staff were very friendly and helpful! The only thing was the paid parking, it was $26 a day, and a little frustrating that it was only done in 24hr increments (you couldn’t pay for parking for a day and a half - you had to do the full 2 days (48hrs)). However, that is a very minor inconvenience! Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Whistler, BC!"

"My son and I stayed one night on Easter Weekend on our way through the area. I've stayed in Whistler many other times in a tent and a travel trailer and had much more restful sleeps! For a kitchenette unit, it had almost no useful dishes (including no coffee cups for the coffee maker!), there was no blanket for the sofa bed for my son and we were woken up repeatedly by loud sounds starting at 4:30am. These issues would have been annoying but what kicked this review all the way down to 1-star is...

"Beware what the listing for the room says. Mine said king bed studio. Nowhere did it say it was a MURPHY bed, ie not a real mattress - plus the bed angled down towards the head. I asked front desk if it was possible to change rooms but they said the king bed rooms are not part of the hotel, that they are privately and the hotel has no control. In addition, I tried to contact Expedia because I booked “Cascade Lodge Hotel” via them but it was impossible to speak to an actual person. The room...

"We love Nita Lake lodge. The complimentary canoe and bicycles are a great bonus. Also the free shuttle into Whistler Village is very helpful. Our room was beautiful, clean, quiet and cozy. Love the large balcony. The bathroom was very luxurious with a huge tub and nice products to use. The in room coffee also nice quality. We had a wonderful stay. Thank you."

"Finding the property was extremely difficult as the only correspondence I had talked about Gibbons Life Accomodation, this cannot be found in whistler. After an hour searching and asking several businesses in town they indicated that it could be Carleton. No reception and no where to park, then went to Longhorn to ask. Joe filled me in where parking would be found and access to room. Finally entered the room and it was wonderful, later when night came tried to watch TV in lounge but couldn't...
