"Tidy cottage. Showing age and has partial do ups. Curtains needed more hooks as barely hanging. Cutlery draw needs cleaning and improved. No TV but excellent wifi. Shower has excellent water flow but no hair shampoo. "

"We had a wonderful stay here and would absolutely recommend it. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the property is very comfortable with far more amenities than you’d expect for a small hotel. Everything is well run and thoughtfully organized. The location is excellent—just a short walk to the water taxis for exploring Abel Tasman National Park, which made our trips very easy. The only minor thing we noticed was that the kitchenette in our room was quite small with limited storage space. However, the large communal kitchen was fantastic and made cooking easy. Overall, a great place to stay and a perfect base for exploring the area."

"Clean cabin with nice ocean view. Great huge kitchen that guests can share which had plenty of refrigeration, stoves, sinks, counters and pots and pans for you to use to cook your meal. Fresh eggs available from their chickens. Next to Abel Tasman trail entrance and vast beach. "

Fantastic location and the staff were a highlight - Rachel was so friendly and accommodating and extremely helpful. Breakfast included was a great extra and made the stay feel good value. "

"Great place to stay, reasonably priced and in a great location for accessing Abel Tasman Park and all the things you can do there plus the towns of Motueka (5 minutes), Mapua etc. As for the lodge, we really enjoyed the communal feel and chatting with people from all over the world. The breakfast was excellent and included their own eggs, fruit, and freshly made scones and muffins. "
