"Its an old hotel thats not needs a renovation badly. Town rack fell, knobb came of bathroom door and the bathtub didnt drain properly. Carpet coming up in the corners of the room an looks worn. Windows shades are filthy, bathroom vanity the wood is warn badly. Will never stay here again. The price is way to high per night to stay here. Its location is perfect though, and lobby looked nice. But I will never stay there again."

"Bring eye covers & white noise machine (or play from you tube on phone). I was delightfully surprised that I actually slept thru the night. The only thing I would’ve done different is, I would have brought eye covers, inside the capsule, there are lights, which is helpful to see your way out, but for me, it kept me awake. So finally, I used my pillowcase to cover my eyes, and I was able to fall asleep. But only with white noise. I played it continuously from my phone, there is a USB charger inside the capsule, which is really great! There are also lights & a mirror. Plenty of room to move around. There are heavy, footed people that will wake up to use the restroom at night, that are unaware of themselves, so they tromp around, not realizing how much noise they’re making. If you stay there, be self-aware: if you’re going to wake up in the night to use the restroom, try to tiptoe out of courtesy for other sleepers. The white noise helped mitigate a lot of the noise! There is plenty of storage for your stuff. 2 pillows, clean crisp sheets, a nice clean blanket, the capsules are air conditioned with a pull down shade. (I brought a small blanket and wedged it from the top to add an extra layer of privacy. Lights don’t go out till like 10pm so light seeps in, especially thru entry point. The communal areas anre also clean, but not perfect, of course they are a little worn/used. Parking garage $20 flat rate, 1.5 blocks franklin d reeves center. Near metro too! 🤗"

"I told myself "at least it's cheap!" because the photos looked horrifying, but the Windsor Inn is quiet, charming, and the photos don't do it justice. No elevator might bother some folks, and having a bathroom sink in the sleeping area was strange, but the shower was clean with good water pressure. Wi-Fi was reliable with a secure network. Front desk staff was very friendly and held my luggage for a few hours after checkout. Neighborhood is serene and beautiful with some cheap food options (Bandit Taco) nearby. Can't beat it for the price!"

"Great location right on DuPont Circle. Beautiful building , our room on 9th floor had a great panoramic view. However, there is only one lift that goes up to 9th floor and the staff was uncaring that it took a very long time - we even have waited for almost 20 minutes one time. The main reason is because the lift is programmed only to pick up by floor ie pick up 4th floor bring down, then pick up 3rd floor then bring down etc much like a school bus that picks up each house to drop off at school individually before the next house rather than have a route to pick up from multiple houses prior to dropping off at the school. Upon letting the front desk know they were indifferent at best. They also didn’t warn us that breakfast needs to be reserved in advance because they accept non guests and doesn’t prioritize hotel guests so we missed breakfast the first morning."
