"The property was clean. The staff were really helpful. The property is only about 10mins walk from Norwich city centre. We liked the room and appreciated that we could make our own meals if we wanted to. The room even had a washing machine. The only issue was there were less parking spaces than rooms which meant we were reluctant to drive anywhere once we had checked in as we may not have been able to park when we returned to the property."

One small one for me was my disability so the sofa area was a bit low for me but this place (and I'm always reluctant to let everyone know when I find a diamond place to stay) was otherwise perfect. "This is a nice, good value and well maintained and managed budget hotel. I stayed in room 4 for five nights in June. The recently refurbished room was medium sized and was very clean. It had an en-suite shower room with a power shower. There was also a clothes rack with four coat hangers and some shelves, a dressing table and chair and a good sized double bed. There was a TV, tea and coffee making facilities and a welcome chocolate bar and apple juice-a nice touch. There was plenty of electrical sockets, some with USB ports, a hair dryer and portable electric fan. There is no room service or phone link to reception, but I did not find these to be necessary and it obviously helps keep prices reasonable. There is no fridge. The guy on reception was welcoming, helpful and efficient. There are very good bus links into the centre (from outside the sorting office, two minutes walk away) for those without a car; alternatively, It is a twenty minute walk to the city centre. Recommended for the discerning, realistic budget traveller."
