"Great central location for walking. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Good choice of supermarkets. Good choice of takeaways nearby."

"Extremely spacious, well equipped clean rooms except a couple of the window areas. External stairwell had a lot of flying insects which was off putting (assume attracted inside from woods to the lights)"

"Nice accommodation in a quiet location"

"Was a nice and easy check in, very nice place and spacious enough, had everything we’d need.. only problem was the lack of cleanliness. Cob webs everywhere, dust and debris on the chairs and in creases of the bedroom suede walls, spiders in corners and cutlery provided has old food hardened within the cuts of the forks as it hasn’t been cleaned properly and left. Toilet also splashes water all over the seat when flushing causing the lid to be splattered with toilet water after every flush."

"Great for group traveller awesome location everything you could need"

"It was clean and good for the price but as a solo traveller I didn’t like not having a front desk and not having a way lock my door once in the room. So I wouldn’t stay here again on my own but with someone else I would"

"Quaysiders resort is an apartment/hotel right by the upper side of Lake Windermere in Ambleside. It is in an absolutely perfect location close to the lake, shops, restaurants. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with a kitchen that had all kitchen amenities. Our Apartment was very clean and spacious . There is an indoor pool that was warm and it can also be like a Jacuzzi. There is also a Sauna. The resort also has a laundry room and dryer so I was able to do my laundry while on our stay. The...

"The property was very spacious and well equipped, so we were able to cook for ourselves. The rooms are really comfortable and quiet. We enjoyed our stay "

"Check in and check out process is easy. Staff are friendly and easily contactable should you need anything. The location is perfect for what we needed; a business trip for one of us to visit an office with the other needing to work from the apartment. Tesco is a short walk or two minute drive for picking up supplies. The WiFi connection is excellent. The bed is comfortable, with plenty of storage space in the bedroom. The kitchen appliances are well maintained and modern. Having guaranteed,...

"Lodge was great with a really lovely view and very comfy beds. Kitchen looked a bit tired with chipped worktops and it would be useful to have some drawers in the built in wardrobe areas for smaller items that don't need hanging. restaurant had good selection and food was good. Pool area, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi were good."
