There was a street fair in Usk, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. We visited the castle and the museum, well worth a visit. Food and service in the Sprokwomble is highly recommended.

Limited staff due to illnesses, so breakfasts had shortages and a bit stretched. Rooms a little dated and tired but comfortable. Pool, Steam room and sauna were good. Didn't use the gym.

The breakfast was lovely. There’s no air-conditioning so you’ll have to crack the window. There’s some stairs, so just be aware that you need to carry your luggage up some stairs. The staff are very helpful and friendly.

The room was clean and staff good. Was surprised that the cleaning staff had left the window open though, so it was very cold when I arrived and took a while for the room to warm up. On the whole our stay was very good. The Spa facilities were excellent and the staff also.

We had a great pizza at the Red Brick cafe at Morris’s restaurant. It’s a lovely setting and about 15 minutes from the hotel.
