I found this hotel through Expedia while traveling through the area. I was impressed with the service provided, the cleanliness of the hotel, and the warmth with which the staff greeted me. The room was very well kept and would have been perfect if we wanted a room with two full beds. We booked a king with a sofa bed and our confirmation said that is what we had. We were heading to Utica for a short weekend getaway including a Friday night concert. The concert started at 8 and we checked in around 7:15. When we got to the room and noticed it was not what we booked. I went down to the front dest and nothing could be done they had no other rooms. The woman explained Expedia does this all the time. I called expedia and ended up on the phone for close to an hour, with people who could barely speak and understand english, with no resolution.Expedia offered no resolution and we were stuck in tiny separate beds and the same price as the King room we reserved. Expedia is a horrible platform for booking your stay and does not stand behind the booking you reserve. The Hotel said they do this all the time and based on my experience i believe them.
