"We had a long layover so we decided to book a hotel near the airport. Communication before arrival was excellent and they responded quickly to our questions.. We arrived in the evening and later then expected due to a flight delay. Even with the delay, they had a shuttle waiting to pick us up. They also took us to the airport very easily in the morning the next day. Very pleased with the staff at the Lodge."

"We were really enjoyed every minute our vacation! The staff were excellent! I would like to say special thanks for help my request ( birthday surprise) to Maima. She did a great job to prepare my husband surprise present. The room was spotless the restaurant was great. The bar was fun,many nights were live music on. The beach and the ocean were clean and gorgeous. The place was overall our expectations. We spent more than a week in the bungalow. Highly recommend this place."

You just sit back and enjoy the views Free use of kayaks and you’re right next to the area of the lagoon where the best snorkelling for the moorea island is. "Location was amazing. So peaceful, quiet, and serene. Viewed sunset from deck chairs of our room. Small facility so beach walks not crowded with lots of tourists. Room a little small but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious - all so fresh. Secured parking on site. Only suggestion is to make guard gate electronic so aren’t required to get out of car to enter code. "

"We stayed at this location for 8 days in a superior room and enjoyed almost every single moment of it. We would rate the location 10/10. The view is breathtaking! The room design and layout are very well done although the rooms themselves are tired and some things don’t work anymore i.e the lighting in the pool and over the mirror in the bathroom, the waterfall in the pool and the hot tub was dry. "The The beach on property is nice. Great views from restaurant. Strong AC, free wifi are plusses. No phone in room, no TV, nobody at reception after a certain time at night. Door to patio was broken. Rooms are dated. "

"The resort was above and beyond our expectations. The breakfast buffet was outstanding - especially the fresh pastries and the omelette bar manned by Heinz. The snorkeling right off shore was fabulous. If we ever are able to return to Moorea, we will definitely stay at the Sofitel Kia Ora again!"

"Really nice small hotel with an excellent restaurant. Nice pool right on a small sandy beach with some pretty good coral beds right there. Beautiful setting near top of cooks bay. Room had a funny smell but staff was great in trying to address it. "

"Clean room. Air conditioning in bedroom but good enough for the rest of rooms. Next to great beach. Bugs at night got in covered walls. Saw them when came back from dinner. We spent some time wiping down the walls to rid them. On bed too. Walking distance to a couple of restaurants. We did not have a car and we didn’t cook or use the kitchen. Not fancy but very adequate. Staff friendly."
