"We absolutely loved staying at the Hotel Posada San Jose. The views of Cuenca from our room and from the dining room were priceless and so beautiful! The staff was warm and welcoming and very helpful. You step outside of the hotel and you are within walking distance of all of the lovely sites of the historic center of Cuenca. "Outstanding location in the old town close to the main square with free car parking just beyond the ruined castle (if you can find a space - can get very busy!). You should pay for the rooms with views out over the canyon - we were on the top floor and the view was stunning!
