"Very clean property from the casino floor to the room, the room was very clean almost spotless"

"Right from the 3:00 pm check in point, the whole trip was a disaster. First no one is at the desk, you have to ring a bell and wait, then we were told our room wasn't ready, it would be another half hour, then there was no cart to bring our baggage in because there was only one and apparently someone had it in there room. "Super friendly and professional staff. I was able to check in a little bit earlier than the normal check in time. The staff didn't hesitate and just asked if I wanted to be on a lower or higher floor then handed me my keys. The room was clean. Ample amount of parking. Free full breakfast and delicious hot coffee. My first time staying here but definitely won't be my last. I think this will be my go to hotel when I'm in the Syracuse area. "Hotel itself is fine - typical Hampton Inn. In fact I’d just said to my wife “I’ve never had a bad experience at a Hampton.” Spoke too soon. I prepaid for a night through Expedia for a young colleague of mine who does. Or have a credit card. He was supposed to arrive at 5pm. His flight from Philadelphia was cancelled and he had to rent a car and drive 5 hours to Syracuse. That night before I went to sleep I went to the front desk and explained the situation. "Staff was great and helpful. The actual room was terrible and dirty. I don't think it was really the staff's fault. Management needs to get their act together and they need to hire better housekeeping, or hire housekeeping period. There were giant roaches (?) in my room. I wasn't expecting much for a Studio 6—I am no stranger to a motel—but this is abysmal. Don't book here."

"This has to be the worst Hotel I've ever stayed at. from the first night the customer service was unprofessional. the grounds were unkept, the grass knee high, and unacceptable. morning breakfast was non-existence. they had coffee but no cups, when asked the simply stated they had none. Rooms were subpar, had a damp smell, nothing in rooms (coffee pot, Hair dyer, Iron etc) no blankets only sheets, I've stayed at many hotels across America, and this was the only one I regretted staying...
