"The staff and resort was awesome. I liked the idea of the European plan therefore I wasn't always feeling like I had to eat at the resort so got to explore some great places to go. The pool and anemies were good. On the European plan it is cheaper to eat al a cart verses buffet and I find I can't eat enough to justify the buffet. "We were greatly impressed with the friendly service of all the staff at Villa La Estancia. The restaurants had delicious food plated so perfectly along with outstanding servers. I highly recommend the steak tenderloin at La Casona as well as the shrimp enchiladas at El Patron at the sister resort Villa Del Palmar. "The location is fantastic, super walkable with tons of great locations in Zona Romantica to visit nearby. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are a little dated sure but my bed was comfortable and thats all that matters to me. My biggest takeaway is that if you want beachfront in the heart of Zona Romantica, the pricepoint of Playa Los Arcos can't be beat. Thoroughly enjoyed our weeklong stay."

Construction project next door was very loud and starts early in the morning. Staff did nothing to quiet loud gatherings ests in common areas late at night. Housekeeping was excellent.
