"Staff are helpful, room and breakfast is ok. Location wise, kindly note it needs to walk uphill ~20min from San Miguel main area, which is tiring at a 3200m altitude. "

The location was great, within walking distance of markets and restaurants, etc. We arrived very early in the morning due to our flight being delayed and the staff was able to help us get checked in, no problem. "Was given the wrong room upon check-in (had booked a Suite but given a Standard room). On the second night we were offered to move to the Suite, but also told that there was a party on the floor above, so we shouldn’t expect to get much sleep. We obviously passed and waited another day. When asking for compensation for the two nights in a Standard room (while paying for a suite) we were only offered a small discount on airport transportation - much less than the difference we had paid. On top of this the heating didn’t work in either of the two rooms. Generally poor service and the facilities weren’t great either."
