"Casa Mathilda is in a great location for exploring Barcelona - a 5 minute walk to 2 different metro stations in opposite directions to catch different lines & equally close to bus stops. Two small grocery markets within steps of the outer front doors that lead you into the lobby where a lift is available (when someone doesn’t forget to properly close the doors or isn’t being worked on) to take you to the hotel on the 2nd floor, which feels safe. "The staff was late to arrive for the available check in time, check in starts at 3pm, but she arrived late at 3:30. Therefore, made me miss my booked tour I had planned for the afternoon. Then issues with the key cards, which was mentioned in previous reviews, but figured it would be solved. "
