"Cosy, warm friendly family hotel. Exentric interior and great

buffet. Monfortinho is great outside the winter i guess, in december its pretty much deserted, but wandering in nature here is great, and its nice and quit. This hotel i would recommend to anyone in any season. "

"Hotel Fonte Santa was a great overnight stop while touring Eastern Portugal. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the rooms are comfortable. The pool is also a refreshing break on hot afternoons. We’d definitely stay here again and recommend it for others."

The accommodations had everything you could possibly need, in fact more, as there was a large variety of fruit, beverages, and other edibles. The view from the balcony was indescribably beautiful. "This was a gem of a property. There are only 2 units so i was looking forward to a very quiet stay. Essentials were included in the kitchen, coffee, tea, milk, meat, cheese, juice, water, cookies, crackers and toasts. The owner delivers fresh bread in the morning. The pool is brand new and beautiful. We enjoyed the fruit baskets, cheese and crackers left for us and had brought some wine too.
