"The experience was very underwhelming. Firstly, it was difficult to access the property to check in with no one directly on site and no clear instructions on who to contact. When staff arrived, it came across like the hotel was a bit of an inconvenience, they were not very welcoming and quite abrupt. Cleanliness here is a big issue, bins had not been emptied in the rooms from previous guests, cobwebs and dead spiders all over the place, and a general fusty smell throughout. The place could do with a thorough hoover and good scrub. It appeared the bathroom hadn’t had a deep clean for some time either. The facilities were also an issue, inadequate curtains meant we were woken as soon as sunrise occurred - they didn’t even cover the full width of the door and were not lined/thick enough. The room was roasting hot all night with no working air-conditioning, and having the window open it was so noisy! There was no water, or even a kettle for tea/coffee and we were unable to access any wifi onboard. The balconies outside the room were filthy, needed a good scrub down and furniture cleaned. The partitions between the rooms were torn down or simply not there, so anyone could have walked along the area (and peered into the shower porthole windows which were not covered). I’d rather leave an honest review so people know fully what to expect when booking!"

"This 'hotel' was crazily good - like too good to be true good. Our host was exceptional, offering us welcome drinks to take back to our room and personally showing us to our room and around the amenities. The hotel is a bit of an odd one (but in a good way) as it is located in a private, secure wing of 8 rooms in an apartment block. We had a double room with a balcony overlooking the main room and it was fantastic. Clean, tidy, well maintained with a large bathroom (there is a shower head for use in the bath but no shower as such - not a big deal for us). There is a safe, kettle, microwave, and fridge in the room. The fridge contained a beer, cola and some snacks, all of which were free. There was a breakfast room in the wing where the included breakfast was served and comprised of a small buffet and hot and cold drinks. Perfectly adequate and enough to set us up for the day, saving additional time and money along the way. The breakfast room is accessible 24/7 with access free tea, coffee machine and cold drinks. The gym looked to be very well equipped although we didn't have time to use it on this occasion. There is a bus stop right outside that takes you directly to the city centre and a train station behind the hotel. We found a local-type pub (Pivovar Hops), on the railway station side that did good pub grub and excellent, cheap beer. There was also a bakery and Tesco Express and other shops and food places around the station. Overall - Excellent - 6 stars."

"The location is the best of the best. I came by ferry from Vienna and the ferry literally docked next to the hotel, and I didn’t even planned. I walk out from the ferry, some steps and I was already in the hotel. The idea is good, however they need to clean a little better. The room was a little bit cold. They need to take advantage of the place and the space, the decoration should be better, because it’s a ship, so they need to take advantage of that. The staff is friendly, the rest was ok."
