"The room was clean and comfortable - the only disappointment was that the wall in the bathroom was broken and the balcony was dirty and had no furniture. The view wasn't as promoted. The buffet breakfast was excellent - and the service was excellent. Reception was great at check-in; yet sadly our key wasn't working although we were authorized for a 3pm late check-out. The same woman who checked us in questioned my companion on having our key activated although she had spoken to him in length at check in. I found that to be rude given our experience at check in. We had opted for the business king club - and it could have been better. We were also not offered or given a room upgrade although we had asked and have VIP Access. The hotel is on top of the mall, which is convenient, and in walking distance to the beach and other restaurants. I have stayed with Brisas properties previously which is why we opted for this property and will not be booking again - as this could have been much better."
