"Casino wasn’t too crowded but did have some construction going on, rooms could use some updating starting to show some wear and tear but we’re all very clean. Late night food/snacks options would have been cool or a microwave in the rooms, but the two restaurants we ate at were amazing."

"a little dingy outside and in the room. the elevator was dirty and sketchy but the staff were professional, the breakfast was good, bathroom was clean and the bed comfortable"

"Welcoming and friendly staff. Everything else for the price.. pretty much what we expected. Stained hallway carpet, stale smoky smell everywhere. The room was clean minus the nasty bedspread and blanket with cig burns and yellow stains. Could use new comforter and pillows. Should get rid of the nasty decorative pillows that never get washed. Overall, fine if a quick stay."

"If you are looking to stay in an older Historic hotel with a great view give this one a try. The rooms are nicely finished and have as many modern amenities as one would expect. Your own private balcony is a real plus with views of the Ohio river and down town Madison. Walking to either is easy from this location as well if you so desire. "The hotel is very convenient to the highway. We stayed one night and it fit our need perfectly. Not a lot of room amenities but for one night it didn’t matter. It was clean, quiet and comfortable. The only thing that was a tiny bit bothersome was the wide gap at the bottom of the entry door. It let in a lot of light all night but actually served as a night light. B’fast was the usual quick bagel, muffin, waffle iron, etc. It served the purpose before we hit the road. I would stay again."

"Great service, clean hotel, in a nice quiet location."

"The staff went above and beyond to help us. They made the extra effort to make our stay special. The view was spectacular and the room was comfortable and quiet. I would definitely recommend staying there."
