"Old, noisy room. Traffic noise through the dilapidated windows. Paint was peeling off the old windows frames. Hair on the shower floor. Hard water stains down the walls in the bathroom. In one of the sinks, the cold water did not work, and judging by the stains around it, it must have been disconnected because it was leaking. Breakfast buffet very poor. Dinner was over priced for poor quality food.
Altogether very disappointing, and desperately in need of renovation."

"The moment we arrived in the room 1175 the stench of chlorine and feces was strong. The corridor carpet looked old and dirty. We had to leave to a different hotel. O have never had a bad experience at an Ibis’s chain hotel. This is was my first bad experience at an Ibis. Also, the room was depleted of any kind of amenity, just a hanger next to the window. Might serve some type of public but not me. Now I will think twice before going to an Ibis hotel in the area of Belo Horizonte."
