"Am enchanted place just a few hundred meters outside of Chamonix. The room was big and comfortable, with a very nice terrace. The place was incredibly silent and immersed in the forest, nearby a roaring river. "
"Great spot for exploring the area and well placed for shops and food in the centre of Chamonix. We booked a room with a mountain view and were lucky enough to be on the Mont Blanc side of the hotel. Worth checking when you book/before you check in. The room itself was all great. No air conditioning, but we didn't need it as it's cooler in the mountains than elsewhere in July. The only thing missing from the room were tea and coffee making facilities."
"Très bon séjour, chambre petite mais cosi et très propre, spa très agréable, restaurant un peu cher mais très bon. Couloirs de l’hôtel « dans son jus » mais propre. Très bien situé.

"We stayed for 2 nights as part of a longer trip to the Alps. The team couldn’t do enough for us and our 2 dogs, a very pet friendly hotel, we were also upgraded to a view of Mont Blanc (thank you!). The parking was easy to access (and had security cameras). We were able to store our bikes in a locked garage during our stay, which was welcome. The restaurant is top quality and good value for money. I’m GF and the pizza GF base was amazing (as was the normal pizza, I’m told!), there is also a good...
"Good budget option in Chamonix, just a 20 min walk into the town, in a nice location next to a lake and the start of a woodland walk, giving another longer option to get into town. Great value breakfast and friendly helpful staff. Wifi worked just fine. Staff made sure I d have no issues getting to my room late at night , after staff had gone home. Would consider staying here again."
"Four years ago, we stayed at the Hotel Les Grands Montets as part of our Tour du Mont Blanc ten-day trek. We had two nights there as we prepared for our last two legs of hiking on our trek. Unfortunately, poor weather did not permit us to take the preferred route to the Lac Blanc -- wind and precipitation made that leg too dangerous. We did an alternate route. We decided to complete the Lac Blanc section one day.
This year, we completed that leg of the trip under excellent weather...
"We stayed for 1 night with with 2 children. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We have a double bed, 1 twin and a pullout couch in the room. It was perfect. The views are amazing, despite the weather being rainy and cloudy when we got there, we were pleased to wake up to sunshine and seeing the mountains around. There are a few hiking trails around. Breakfast was great with a variety of breads and meats and yogurt. There really isnt anythinf bad to say about this place. Had its own rustic...
"Hotel is well situated, just off the Main Street with groceries, restaurants, shops, etc. very close by. The staff were super helpful and held on to our bags for the day after we checked out."
