"The room was utilitarian--and fine--but the standout was the breakfast. It ended up being the finest breakfast we had across 6 hotels in Switzerland, Italy and Monaco. Location was also perfect, just up the hill from the train station and the waterfront."

Open the windows and doors and enjoy sheer beauty. Location is really walkable to shops and food but also straight out to the lake for miles or walking. Fantastic!!"

"Kitchen was equipped although we didn’t cook, only boiled water for tea. Room felt like a student dorm room. We were on the ground floor next to the breakfast room, it was a bit noisy in the morning. Sports team was staying the same time as us, felt like we were given a forgotten room. We were only staying one night so it was fine. "

"The hotel has a really welcoming atmosphere, with a comfortable reception area, and modern decor. Staff are really pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was great. The location is a short walk from the music venue Les Docks and very close to the Vigie metro stop. "

"We were so looking forward to a 1 night stay here as part of our honeymoon. As regular travellers to Montreux we were excited to finally try Suisse Majestic but were bitterly disappointed. Paid for a deluxe lake view room. The room itself was ok, but the bathroom was very poor and cramped. The shower head didnt stay up, and access was limited. The "balcony" was tiny - very disappointing. Our main gripe was the temperature of the room which was set at 27 degrees - way too hot! We couldnt adjust this as this is "hotel policy". The phone in the room didnt work, so we tripped down to reception. Advised to open the door. This didnt have much effect so ended up with the door open ALL night - not much sleep with outside noise from traffic and friday night revellers. Weed smells started drifting in from about 6am, so we gave up. Definitely wouldnt return."
