You need to know that this place is a dump (peeling paint, bad repair jobs, weird stains, threadbare towels, etc). I knew that. I've stayed there a few times. I'm probably done there. Why do I keep going back? The location is prime, and it's one of the cheapest places on the boardwalk. So if you like to save money and you're not too fussy, this place may be for you. It's right on the boardwalk, and the AC works.

This is a nice, obviously older, and a bit out dated property. There is no breakfast or lots of amenities. Having said that, all rooms are ocean facing, it is right in the boardwalk, it’s clean, and the staff are helpful. The cost is reflective of all this, so if you are there to be close to the beach, in walking distance of decent restaurants, and to spend your money on the sights and restaurants, not a super fancy motel- this is the place for you. I would note one thing that I definitely did not like, the balconies are all attached to each other, so if someone wanted to, it would be easy for them to come on to your balcony. For this reason, we made sure to always keep the door locked if we weren’t on the balcony. I’d keep in mind if I were traveling alone.
