"Very retro and comfortable! A very close distance to parks, stores, gas station, and restaurants. Pets are welcomed which is a huge bonus. Everyone’s nice and welcoming. We did get locked outside during brunch and a customer had to let us in. We were eating and an employee closed the door and didn’t bother to see if we were outside. But still loved the hotel."
"if you want a youth hostel experience at hotel prices this is the place. The rooms are tiny and poorly ventilated, so must be very hot in high summer. The toilets and showers are shared in classic hostel style. I expect the hotel thinks the décor is quirky. The staff are friendly, but nothing can help this. Next time I'll stay in the Premier Inn!"
"On the whole, we were very happy with our stay here. However, there was one issue that caused us a problem in our apartment (306). Sometimes, there was a strong smell of sewerage on the upper floors but at other times it was ok. We couldn't work out if it was the drains or the air con. This was reported twice to reception and was acted upon both times but was never fully resolved."
"Great hotel. A little away from the old town but and tram ride took care of it. The hotel was very nice. Breakfast was good. Very comfy beds. I recommend it!"
"There are two tales here. The night staff is just ok and the day one is super friendly, so no complains about the staff in general. However, the hotel feels dirty and is ugly. A lot of the equipment doesnt feel of good quality, and the rooms have installations that feel from the communist era in Eastern Europe. That's not good, cause they are asking more than the price of 4stars hotels in other places in Western Europe. Heck, this stop of the itinerary was more expensive than one in a 5stars hotel we had. It is a shame that they have a historic house that they use for publicity, because nobody is actually staying there."
