"Staff very helpful in ordering Pizza for us as restaurant not open Sundays. The only drawback was having to wait an hour for reception to open at 6.30pm"
"This hotel was overall an outstanding experience. The rooms are somewhat quirky but met all of my needs and I had a very good night’s sleep there. My stay included dinner and breakfast. The dining room is lovely with a wonderful view of the garden. It’s obvious that the chef is serious because even though I had the “cheaper” option, my dinner was still better than many other places I have been on my trip.
I also found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. In short, I would go out of my way to stay at this hotel again, even for a few nights. "
"Wow! Wow! Wow! This quirky, little place completely stole our hearts ♥️ My little boy was gutted we had to leave and said he'll never forgot this place or Yves- the farmer! 🥰
When we arrived we were invited into his home for beers around his kitchen table and he told us how he built the treehouse all by himself and the zip wires. Breakfast was delivered each morning to the treehouse in a basket where we ate it in the treetops- totally magical! There was enough food for breakfast, lunch and tea! Our children loved being able to wander around the farm, feeding the animals and the zip wire and pool were a big hit with them both!

"Really peaceful, lovely rooms and a warm welcome. Really good continental breakfast. There was even a kettle and decent teabags!
This hotel is excellent value for money. Immaculately clean, lovely bathrooms. The rooms were spacious and comfortable - modern rooms but in keeping with the traditional rustic building. The hotel has an honesty bar where you can get a beer (but not much else) although there's no drinks or facilities to make bake a drink in the rooms.
The village itself is very quiet - nothing to do apart from go for a walk. The next village along, Brulon, had a few more restaurants/cafes.
We ate in the restaurant next to the hotel - worth booking ahead as it didn't look like they did walk-ins. The hotel booked us a table the day before we arrived.
We would definitely stay here again and wish we'd stayed more than one night - if you're looking for a comfortable, peaceful overnight stopover, this hotel is perfect."
