"Had a one night stay following a trip to Hobbiton movie set. Stayed in chalet Frodo which is only a 10-15 min drive from Hobbiton.The chalet is very clean and well appointed. While quite compact it had everything the two of us required for an overnight stay. We had dinner at Osteria restaurant in the main centre which is only a 3 min drive away. Thoroughly recommend Osteria for quality of food, portion size , atmosphere and price"

"I was looking forward to staying here as we had heard a lot of nice things about Tauranga. However this motel is out of the way and you really need a car to go exploring. The motel is a little dated especially the bathroom. the bedroom was spacious and comfortable however the TV felt like it was going to fall off the wall as the mount wobbled.
